IT Trainer

The primary role of an IT Trainer is to train the business users and end users on how to use the IT system. S/He will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring that the software and systems developed align with business requirements and business users can use it. Information technology trainers will prepare and provide instructional manuals for the use of computers for professional and advise on, plan and organise IT training within company and client organisation. The following is a comprehensive job description for an IT Trainers:

Job Summary: The IT Trainer will prepare IT training contents, collaborate and conduct the training courses with various departments and stakeholders to deliver, document, and record videos for explaining the usage of business system. They will translate these requirements into training transcripts for business users as well as technical teams and work closely with project managers, developers, and testers to ensure successful project delivery. The IT Trainer will also be involved in creating structure and contents of the training materials in form of documents, video recordings and online sessions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Training Sessions: Conduct remote web training as well as class-based trainings to regional partner locations and project teams.
  2. Remotely interview, onboard, and audit trainers conducting certification courses.
  3. Event Coordination: Organize training events and coordination.
  4. AI-Drive Content Creation: Assist with content creation by leveraging GPT tools.
  5. Content Translation Coordination: Coordinate translation of training content with trainers across global regions.
  6. Database Management: Manage and consolidate training courses in our global IT training database.
  7. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges.

Documentation:

  • Create detailed documentation including training transcripts, process flows, use cases, and user stories.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date Training course documentation throughout the training course.

Desired skills:

  • Training Experience: Experience with training content creation and/or background as an IT trainer with strong communication & presentation skills for remote & in-person events.
  • Highly Autonomous: Self-driven, self-teachable, and able to self-organize/lead events at scale.
  • Language Skills: English is required for this job. Arabic fluency is nice to have, Native Arabic speaker is preferred and any additional languages are plus.
  • LMS Experience: Experience with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle, TalentLMS) is a plus.
  • Extremely Organized: Structurally-minded; able to balance/prioritize tasks/projects simultaneously, always looking to improve efficiency.
  • Determined Personality: Good negotiation skills, experience in problem solving & analysing information.
  • Detail-Oriented: Consistently proofreads grammar, spelling, etc., with an eye for company design-style guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, in education or teaching.
  • Proven experience as a Teaching/instructor.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in requirement gathering, Content creation and documentation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in Arabic language, both written and verbal. English intermediate level is required for day to day activities.
